Resources Sea Scouting Key 3 The Central Region Sea Scouting leadership team is led by the Key 3. The Central Region Sea Scouting Key 3 includes the Central Region Boatswain (a Sea Scout youth member); the Central Region Commodore (an adult volunteer); and the Central Region Staff Advisor (an adult BSA professional staff member). This leadership team, encompassing a youth and an adult volunteer and professional, guide, direct, and support Sea Scouting in the Central Region. The Key 3, in addition to other members of the Central Region Sea Scouting Committee, supports the councils (squadrons) and ships to help meet the needs and interests of the Sea Scouts and Sea Scouters in the Central Region.The Central Region Boatswain is a member of the Central Region Venturing Youth Cabinet. The Central Region Commodore is a member of the Central Region Venturing Committee and represents the Central Region on the National Sea Scout Committee.
