The Central Region is composed of six sub-divisions, known as Areas. Each Area is a geographically contiguous group of councils that are regionally administered together. Each Area has a volunteer Area Committee and a professional Scouter serving as Area Director. Each Area, recognizing the inherent value of the Venturing program have created an Area (youth) Venturing President position. An advisor is also appointed to support Area Venturing President. The Area Venturing President serves as a catalyst for Venturing in the Area, ensuring healthy communication among councils, and between councils and the region. This individual also serves as a resource to support council TLC's and aid in the developmental process of a TLC for councils establishing a TLC. Current Area Venturing Presidents are:
