On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Aggie Eagle Program
The inaugural Aggie Eagle Program occurred November 12-13, 2004. The interest in and the reception of the event were overwhelming. Therefore, the Corps of Cadets of Texas A&M University is pleased to announce that an Aggie Eagle Program will be held each fall and spring.
It is a recruiting program for the Corps of Cadets of Texas A&M University. Traditionally, the Corps has 300+ members who hold the BSA Eagle or the GSUSA Gold Award. The Program recognizes that the same traits that motivate a youngster to join Scouts also encourage them, as collegians, to join the Corps. The Program focuses on seniors and select juniors in high school who are Eagle Scouts or Gold Award holders. If any seniors or juniors are still actively involved in Scouting, they will be considered to be on track for these honors and may attend the Program. Thus, Venturers, Life and Sea Scouts are eligible if they are high school seniors or juniors and still actively involved in Scouting.
WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
AEP is offered once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
