Council Venturing Journey to Excellence (JTE)The Council Standards of Venturing Excellence (CSVE) Award has been redesigned and re-branded as "Council Venturing Journey to Excellence" (JTE). This will help provide continuity with other BSA programs, and better evaluate the quality of a council's Venturing program. Forms are Due by February 15.
If all of the requirements are completed, a council is eligible to earn the award. The Council Venturing Journey to Excellence Award is determined based on successfully achieving the criteria by December 31.
The Council and VOA leadership completes the form. It is completed shortly after the end of the calendar year for which you are submitting for the award (example, for 2018, you should complete and mail the form no later than February 15, 2019.
Recognition items will include recognition in the Central Region newsletter and listing on crventuring.org as well as a certificate presented at the BSA National Annual Meeting and a mention on www.scouting.org/venturing.
To apply for the award, fill in the council information at the top of the form, mark the requirements that have been completed, and get the requested signatures. Mail or fax the completed form to the National Venturing office now located in Irving, Tx.Please send your completed forms to:
